These sliding elements are made from \u201cPEEK\u201d, a high-performance plastic. PEEK has a number of impressive qualities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It\u2019s operating temperature ranges from -40\u00b0 to 250\u00b0 degrees<\/li>\n<li>The plastic can withstand heavy loads<\/li>\n<li>It has excellent chemical resistance<\/li>\n<li>Low expansion coefficient<\/li>\n<li>High material stiffness coupled with excellent dimensional stability<\/li>\n<li>Approved for use in the food and pharmaceutical industries<\/li>\n<li>Ultra-high vacuum applications.<\/li>\n<li>Applications with heavy contamination<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These properties ensure that it can offer a solution in situations where existing ball or bearing guide systems are insufficient.<\/p>\n<p>The external dimensions remained the same as the standard profile guides. It is available for different sizes (from 15 to 65).<\/p>\n<p>For the time being, this line is offered on a project\/customer-specific basis.
