An important lunch and roundtable with Matthias Diependaele, Minister-President of Flanders, and the provincial winners of SME of the Year, initiated by UNIZO, was held on Thursday, 16 January 2025.

We discussed some of the biggest challenges facing our entrepreneurs today: licensing policy, labour shortages, and opportunities within foreign trade. These were open and constructive discussions that demonstrated once again how important our SMEs are to the Flemish economy.

We continue to build a business-friendly policy that helps our entrepreneurs grow and innovate. A sincere thanks to all the entrepreneurs who shared their stories and expertise.
