GEAR RACKS AND GEARS
Atlanta supplies a complete range of gear racks and gears, both bevel and straight toothed gear racks and gears.
BEVEL TOOTHED GEAR RACKS
- These gear racks are bevelled at an angle of 19° 31’ 42”. The consequence of this is that the pitch becomes a rounded number (e.g.: 10 mm). This also applies to the hole pattern for the mounting holes.
- The modulus of these gear racks can range from 2 to 12.
- The gear racks are available in different materials with special treatments such as: soft, hardened and tempered, inductively hardened, inset hardened or ground.
- The teeth of the gear racks can be finished in various accuracies.
- The standard lengths of the gear racks are 1000 mm and 2000 mm.
- The gear racks can be supplied with and without mounting holes.
- Special lengths can be made on request.
STRAIGHT TOOTHED GEAR RACKS
- The modulus of these gear racks can range from 1 to 12. The hole pattern for the mounting holes has spacings that are a multiple of π.
- The gear racks are available in different materials with special treatments such as: soft, hardened and tempered, inductively hardened, inset hardened, ground, stainless steel or plastic.
- The teeth of the gear racks can be finished with different tolerances.
- The standard lengths of the gear racks are 1005.3 mm and 2010.62 mm.
- The gear racks can be supplied with and without mounting holes.
- Special lengths can be made on request.
BEVELLED GEARS
- These gears are bevelled at an angle of 19° 31’ 42”. As a result, the distance travelled becomes a rounded number. (e.g.: module 3 x 20 teeth gives a linear displacement of 200 mm for 1 revolution)
- The modulus of these gears can range from 1.5 to 12.
- The gears are available in different materials with special treatments such as: soft, hardened, ground.
- The teeth of the gears can be finished with various tolerances.
- There are different versions of gears: with a splined connection, flanged gears, etc.
STRAIGHT TOOTHED GEARS
- The modulus of these gears can range from 1 to 12.
- These gears are available in different materials with special treatments such as: soft, hardened, stainless steel, ground, plastic.
- The teeth of the gears can be finished with various tolerances.
- There are different versions of gears: with a splined connection, flanged gears, etc.
