PLANETARY ROLLER SPINDLES
Planetary roller spindles, or the planetary roller spindle system, includes a swirled or ground spindle with a load-bearing roller nut. The special triangular geometry of the screw thread is a special feature of this system. Due to the shape of the contact surface and the large number of planets, very high load-bearing numbers are obtained. Applications can be found in presses.
